A Day trip in Stellenbosch
A visit to Stellenbosch is a must when visiting South Africa. Being the second oldest town in South Africa and known as a university town, there is something for everyone. Activities in the area

You can add a visit to one of the plenty of golf courses in the area for the golfers. One of the popular options would be the De Zalze Golf Club. This 18-hole golf course offers a great day out. While walking the course, you also get to enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and vineyards. This golf course also has a practice facility where you can loosen up and practice your range, chipping and putting before your game starts. Enjoy a drink at the halfway house, and you get to end your day at the 19th Hole Clubhouse.
Visiting over a weekend, a stop at one of the Markets is a must. Some of the popular options include the Slow Food market at Oude Libertas and the Blaauwklippen Family Market. At these markets, you will find fresh produce, arts and crafts and lots of food options.
